Bengal Spice

Welcome to Bengal Spice, a vibrant new culinary gem nestled in the heart of Rainham at 64 Upminster Rd S, Rainham RM13 9AA. As a food reviewer for Cafe Encore, I am thrilled to introduce you to this exciting restaurant that has already captured the hearts of many local diners with its authentic Indian cuisine and warm hospitality.

At Bengal Spice, the focus is on bringing the rich flavors of Indian cooking to life. The menu is a delightful blend of traditional dishes and innovative specialties. One standout dish is the Murgh Royal, a sumptuous chicken preparation mixed with minced lamb, fresh herbs, tomatoes, and spices that tantalizes the taste buds at just £12.95. For seafood lovers, the Chilli Mass Biran Fish at £15.95 is a must-try, while the vegetarian option of Mushroom Tikka at £10.95 caters to plant-based diners.

The starters are just as inviting, ranging from crispy Samosas (£3.95) to succulent Tandoori King Prawns (£8.95). Each dish is prepared with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality, as reflected in the plethora of positive reviews from satisfied customers. Charlotte Baines describes her experience as “amazing,” praising both the “fantastic service” and the delicious cuisine.

For the main course, Bengal Spice offers an impressive selection of tandoori dishes, such as the King Prawn Shashlik Special (£19.95) and Salmon Tikka Special (£16.95), ensuring that there is something to please every palate. The Lamb Shashlik (£12.95) and Tandoori Chicken (half for £11.95) are also popular choices, often highlighted for their smoky flavor and tender textures.

Adding to the appeal, the restaurant boasts a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect place for family gatherings or a night out with friends. Customers rave about the attentive staff, particularly Ash, whose exemplary service enhances the overall dining experience.

Bengal Spice also impresses with its convenient free parking, making a visit here hassle-free. As Kamal Ahmed joyfully noted, the combination of mouthwatering dishes like prawn puree and lamb bhuna in delightful surroundings truly sets this restaurant apart.

The flavours were amazing. I asked the waiter if he could recommend something new. I described the usual curry I usually have and he suggested the lamb karaki. It was out of this world. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Would definitely recommend

Tried this place as it opened new, this replaced the previous restaurant that was here called Cauliflower and have to say the food was absolutely amazing. I tried the prawn puree, garlic naan and the lamb bhuna. The taste was delicious. Keep up the good work. They also have free parking which is on the side of the restaurant.
